About S.N.A.P

The S.N.A.P. (Spay Neuter and Protect) organization started in 2018 with the mission to provide our community with a low cost spay/neuter voucher program to help reduce the number of unwanted and unaltered cats and kittens.  S.N.A.P. also operates an adoption program to provide cats and kittens in need with a forever home where they will be safe and loved.  In addition, S.N.A.P. raises money by operating a Thrift and Gift Store in Palo Cedro at 9155A Deschutes Road (530-547-02050) and organizes various other fundraisers to support their mission.  Since 2018 S.N.A.P. has helped the public alter over 6000 pets and has taken in almost 1000 stray or unwanted animals to be re-homed. VOLUNTEER
with S.N.A.P

If you would like to help out at either the Thrift and Gift store or adoption center we would love to welcome you to our family.  In the Thrift Store, you would be helping merchandise our donations, cleaning and dusting, selling merchandise and other organizational duties and helping customers.  In the adoption center volunteers are hands on with our kittens and cats and help with litter boxes, socialization, feeding and changing water bowls, medications and taking care of their various needs while they wait for their forever home.  Another option is to foster kittens or cats that are babies or need special care in the comfort of your home. Our volunteers are a dedicated group that enjoy the camaraderie and friendship of the other volunteers but more importantly share a love of cats and kittens and want to make a difference in the lives of those we take care of.  Please either download the volunteer form and send it to our Thrift Store or fill out the application online and submit it electronically.
